hpsModeler
Electric Software's latest product, hpsModeler, is a powerful, easy-to-use tool for calculating and optimizing the cost and emissions of heat pump systems. Heating and cooling of residential and commercial buildings is globally the second largest consumer of energy and emitter of CO2. The generally accepted goal is to reduce the developed world emissions to zero by 2050 and total world emissions to zero before 2060. hpsModeler simulates the comprehensive set of components that can be leveraged to help meet this goal.
- GlowCode
GlowCode is our performance toolset for Windows software developers. It is a real-time performance and memory profiler for C++, C# and .NET Windows applications built with native and managed code. GlowCode isolates performance bottlenecks, detects memory leaks and resource overconsumption, profiles and traces program execution, while the diagnosed program runs. In managed code GlowCode also isolates boxing errors, identifies excessive resource usage, and finds hyperactive and loitering objects.
GlowCode's unrivaled speed and accuracy empower programmers to isolate and correct errors early and often during product development. GlowCode fosters a proactive software development environment, building a solid foundation of clean code, and averting costly late-stage crises.
- ElectricDesk
ElectricDesk was the first integrated office software product which included word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and communications terminals, for the IBM-PC. ElectricDesk was launched commercially in 1983, years before Microsoft Office (1990) and its predecessor Microsoft Works (1986). ElectricDesk boasted window views, years before the existence of the Microsoft Windows operating system.
More than 500,000 copies of ElectricDesk, later named
AlphaWorks, were sold, many as OEM sales to Epson, IBM, PackardBell, and others. The product received numerous industry awards, including PC Magazine's Editor's Choice. In 1990, Lotus Software acquired the exclusive rights to ElectricDesk and AlphaWorks and marketed the product as LotusWorks.
